You are almost ready to create your own AR app. To do this, you must first create some 3D content. Unity includes a built in default 3D engine. To export your 3D asset for use with Unity, navigate to the menu bar on the top left and select File.
Navigate to Create then other then 3D Content. Choose the first option for Environment. Unity creates a scene with a single cube and some ground. If you wish to add more assets to your environment, please refer to Unitys documentation.
After you save your 2D content, return to Unity. In the 3D window click on the mesh component of the 3D scene and choose Create GameObject. Click the Move tool in the Inspector to position it on the cube in your scene. Click the Scene button to return to Unitys Edit screen.
If you have finished creating your 2D content, return to the 3D window and click the assets you wish to import into Unity. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the content into Unitys Project window.
Now you can create 3D objects in Unity. To create a 3D object, click the Create GameObject button. Unity allows you to create complex 3D environments as long as you have some basic understanding of geometry. Unity includes a very powerful geometry tool which allows you to easily manipulate every aspect of your 3D objects. If you are new to Unity, I would suggest referring to some tutorials on its geometry features. To get you started, I would suggest checking out this video tutorial on Unitys Geometry tool by LinusB/panda.
Many games are designed in a modular way. Rather than buying a box or a hard drive that contains the game itself, players can instead download a game application that gives them the opportunity to play more than one game at a time. Here we will learn how to make a simple mobile app that has the ability to create a playlist of games to play. 3d9ccd7d82
