hi, great post! i had the same problem after installing portal-pack netbeans plugins, but something is missing: i added the line libs.CopyLibs.classpath=Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans\ 6.7.1.app/Contents/Resources/NetBeans/java2/ant/extra/org-netbeans-modules-java-j2seproject-copylibstask.jarbut i still have some reference problems, as asked at =58354#58354 . Someone has a clue of what is going on? Thanks

I was just installing the fine IDE NetBeans 6.9 and its installer asked me to install the Java JDK first. It was saying "Java SE Development Kit (JDK) was not found on this computer" (see screenshot). The dialog points one to download the JDK at Since Oracle acquired Sun, now that redirects to
Thanks a lot for the solution.I was trying for a long time to fix the installer problem your solution fixed it . Just modified the JDK path ( Including the JRE) and netbeans 6.8 was installed successfuly. I am new to Java J2EE ( I know core Java) and installed it to enhance my knowledge for Java J2EE
hello there, i am new to the programming environment and today, i downloaded netbeans 8.2 on windows 10. installing it, it gives the same dialog box as above, i then downloaded java jdk 10 for windows x64, installed it well and restarted my laptop but netbeans still gives the same response. help coz i can wait to start.
Before you can start building JavaFX applications in the NetBeans IDE, you must ensure that your development environment meets the minimum requirements for JavaFX and NetBeans (see previous recipe Installing the JavaFX SDK for minimum requirements). Version 1.2 of the JavaFX SDK requires NetBeans version 6.5.1 (or higher) to work properly.
As a new NetBeans user (or first-time installer), you can download NetBeans and JavaFX bundled and ready to use. The bundle contains the NetBeans IDE and all other required JavaFX SDK dependencies to start development immediately. No additional downloads are required with this option.
Just a little tip, as the syntax of less (less css) is so similar to css, just add a new file type in Netbeans > Tools > Options > Miscellaneous > Files like so: Update: I found less editing works a lot better with Netbeans 6.5.1 than with 6.8. The code formatting of 6.8 is too picky and will essentially not format less as it's not proper css. No such problems with Netbeans 6.5.1 which I also use on Windows as a vastly superior less and css editor compared with Visual Studio. You can always get Netbeans 6.5.1 and other versions through this page:
Kars: Thanks, this is just what I was looking for when I was trying to work with less on netbeans for the first time. I'm currently using 6.9.1. If it is still too picky I think I'll try the older version you specified.
dirk: @Karsten: Thanks, very helpful this new plugin. As outlined in the post update I stayed with Netbeans 6.5.1 because it was unobtrusive with lesscsss and even did nice reformatting. A specialized plugin should be even better.
Hi MOHD AFEEF, is there a particular reason you are using version 6.5.1? The thing is, Elasticsearch version updates are usually major and there are different methods to access the ES API in even minor version updates. This lesson specifically covers version 6.1.2.
i have installed new version ie 6.5.1 according to your ver import org.elasticsearch.ElasticsearchException;import org.elasticsearch.action.index.IndexRequest;import org.elasticsearch.action.index.IndexResponse; eclipse is throwing error
